Some people do not consider this a real Sclerocactus but still name it Glandulicactus uncinatus. The JM100 field number origins from Sitting Bull Falls on the north of Guadalupe mountains New Mexico. Magnificent spines and almost illuminating orange/red flowers followed by brilliant red fruits, makes this a attractive species to grow.

Limited to 30 seeds per customer.

Cultivation notes:
Seeds germinate pretty easy (so not very Sclerocactus like).

Kept dry, this species can withstand -12 degrees Celsius without fear, -15 degrees Celsius may give some damage or even lost. Water early spring (1st weekend of March). Use mineral soil. Keep summer rest. Older plants require not much water. Six times a year is sufficient. Very young seedlings require some more water, though the can withstand dry and will have nice spines. Keep cool in winter.
